We are thrilled to announce that Tipzy has emerged victorious in the final round of Tulane's esteemed Pitch Friday Series, clinching the grand prize and solidifying our commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship!
Pitch Fridays have long been hailed as an exceptional opportunity for student startups to showcase their ventures, earn cash prizes, and receive invaluable feedback. Open to all Tulane students, both undergraduate and graduate, the series welcomes ventures at all stages, fostering a dynamic ecosystem of creativity and ambition.
Throughout the series, Tipzy showcased its revolutionary platform designed to simplify the process of managing song requests in bars, catering to both bars and bar patrons. With each round, we refined our pitch, honed our strategy, and demonstrated the immense potential of Tipzy to transform the bar industry.
As winners of the final grand prize round, Tipzy has secured $15,000 in cash and $2,500 in pro bono legal services from Stone Pigman. This remarkable achievement not only validates the hard work and dedication of our team but also highlights the disruptive nature of Tipzy's solution in addressing the needs of bars and bar patrons alike.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the judges of the Pitch Friday Series, including Tulane alumni, entrepreneurs, and professionals from diverse industries, for recognizing the significance of Tipzy's innovation. Their expertise and insights have been instrumental in guiding us on this journey of entrepreneurship.
We also want to express our sincere appreciation to The Tulane Innovation Institute, the Lepage Center, and the Tulane Alumni Business Association (TABA) for sponsoring and funding the Pitch Friday Series. Their support has been instrumental in providing aspiring entrepreneurs like us with the platform and resources needed to thrive.
This victory marks a significant milestone for Tipzy, but it is only the beginning of our journey. With unwavering determination and a commitment to innovation, we are poised to revolutionize the bar industry and reshape the way music is enjoyed in nightlife experiences.
